Potential problems?
I would think it depends on the amount of inbalance. I would say it might affect the life of the main bearings and rod bearings. Extra stress on the whole engine in general. Nothing immediately life threatening but if you ever get a chance to do a clutch or etc... it should be taken care of.
hmm.. damn wodner if I should just stick with an OEM one then... mine *was* oem... it's been lightened and balanced... and for the most part it's ok, except under acceleration in 3rd gear and sometimes 2nd...

Will an out of balance flywheel cause sever damage to the engine? It's probably only slightly out of balance. But was wondering if vibs could cause some problems.
Thanks,
