I have the Valet 551T remote start. Does the same thing. It starts your car. If you leave your climate control set and heated seats on, oh baby it's sweet on a cold morning.

It works off your factory remote - well sort of. See it gets it's signal to start your car from TWO pulses of the door locks. So you push the factory remote lock buttom twice and your car starts. This assures it's also locked!

Better yet, if your out cleaning your car and don't have the keys but want some power to open windows or whatever, just hit the lock botton inside the car twice and guess what.... VROOOMMM I really like that feature.

Nope, you cant drive away without the key, because the steering stays locked, and if you have an auto, so does the shifter. Also, if you wire it properly, touching the brake will shut down the car if the keys aren't in the ignition. I have a designtech autocommander that I bought at BJs for $40. Works great, I blew up one because I didnt use an external relay to power my 4 high beams, but they sent me a replacement, with an extra remote, so now I have 2!!! Not too bad i'd say, for $40.
