Hey everyone. I am thinking about purchasing a set of these and have some questions. I did some searching on the ORG and google and still havent found the answer i need. How is the little tab on the washer supposed to change our camber? I read some installation instructions and it didnt tell me how tight the bolt had to be before you can point the tab in the desired direction to fix camber. And how are you supposed to know how much to turn the nut by? Is this something your supposed to take to an alignment shop to do while they check your alignment? If you guys have a picture of them installed, that would be great as well.

thanks for the video it cleared up ALOT of things. Just one more question..from the video, to fix negative camber the tab is facing inward?(hugging the strut mount bracket) and when u want to fix positive camber the washer with the tab is flipped and pointing outwards and towards the engine?

 

Stay away. they're crap. havent' had anything but bad luck with them. doesn't matter what brand- they're too small of a bolt and will stretch and lose torque.. then your strut moves under hard cornering and your alignment (and handling) go to hell.

VERY scary when you turn into a corner and you have to yank the wheel another 1/4 turn in the center of the corner to keep from careening into the semi next to you.

use camber plates or slot your strut housings and tack weld washers on once you get the alignment set. much safer.

 

Ugh...are u serious? dam man..so everyone lowered (springs)on the org pretty much has negative camber?

 

2" lowered on Sprints, no camber bolts or plates, just got alignment yesterday, -0.9deg camber. Barely noticeable wear on inside of tires.

Camber bolts get loose after awhile too.
