Central is cool with me...like DaveB said it's a nice universal meeting spot...also not unfair to people on the left coast...but if all else fails...I say Toronto would be just as nice

I sorta like the idea of having it in Vegas as well. That would be cool I would finally be 21, and I need to stretch the legs out on my car! I have only hit 135mph, and I want to see what the top end is now! hee hee...

LAS VEGAS IS WHERE IT'S AT!!!

TORONTO!! TORONTO!! TORONTO!! TORONTO!!!

We have a nice cruising scene, a nice race scene, wide open roads in the suburbs (Richmond Hill, etc..), etc..

Plus many of us Canadians would like you meet such popular figures as SprintMax, Medicsonic, Y2KevSE, etc..

I like the idea of toronto even though the we should head to tennesse at some point and have a huge meet there i think the nissan people would get a kick out of it and it would get the word out to other maxima owners to join the club and i mean im sure the nissan people would welcome us with wide open arms since we are loyal drivers of there product and i hear them southern girls arnt bad either.

Canada is a nice idea for future Maxus Event. Maybe when this current forum is at it's 5 years anniversary. There is this cool place between Niagra Falls, Canada (closer to the Niagra Falls side) and Toronto, Canada on the QEW.
It's a place where they have casinos and carnival rides. There is also very nice and big club there too, and all you have to be is 19 to drink and whatever there, it's Canada.

Fack all those who are suggesting elsewhere am sure most of us would like to see how car's are made in real time.

Why don't we just split MAXUS up.

Northeast guys can go meet the HAIRY GIRL'S in Canada.

Southerner's can flock to the Nissan plant in smyrna, Tennesee

Midwest boy's can deal with Dave B in texas .

West coast maxima's can have a huge ball in Vegas.

Later on we can compare meet's and see whose MAXUS was the crunkest.

just think it would be cool if it was on the west side. so what if u east coast guys have more maximas or more maximas that show up to meets. why dont u prove it by showing up to vegas? drive. fly. take a bus. go hard. i would have drove to the east side maxus had i not been in the process of moving. i just think that for such an important event we shouldnt be arguing about it and we should be happy about it. just my 2 cents.

personally i like this idea why have it in one spot we should use our regonial boards and decide what everyone can afford to do...a lot of it im sure comes down to money and drive time....therefor....

Maxus Day 2002 check your regional boards for details

i wanted to go last year but my job and drive time wouldn't alow it...and why fly to a max meet and drive in a ford...might as well have a rental car company as a sponsor for it

"Midwest Maxus" sounds like a good plan for people who can't make it to the main one. I for one would make the trip to KC or Topeka.

they already know me ;D yes they are now afraid of maximas in a way that they never were before.. . If we have the meet up here then we can go to Cayuga or my home track of NYIRP (which many claim is a fast track).

Toronto to the falls ~ 1.5 hr driving 120, + another hr to get there so I'm guessing 2~3 hrs, depends how fast you drive and traffic.

I would say 2.5 - 3 hours maybe a little longer if you get stopped at the USA. They are a cool track = no helmet, not tech inspection, just show up and do anything - they even allow drinking in the pits. I'm sure I would have no problem getting them to open for us only and I know they would be VERY cheap
