idea- lowering car even more

Im thinking about removing the rubber isolator cover thats on top of the springs on the rear. that will lower the car about 1/2 inch. will there be any problems doing so?

'klink' 'clank' 'klink' 'clank' ... but then again maybe not... seeing that the springs never unseat...
