Purple Power

i forget what it is called, but its a new oil with purple in the name in its supposed to add extra added hp and mpg and blah blah, im heading into 3500 miles since my last oil change and i was hoping to get some help, i know everyone nuts over mobil 1 but if someone could share there experiance with this new purple oil i would be greatful PEACE

yeah, it claims horse power and milage, but what doesn't, i was just check the org if someone else has spent the money so i don't have to

yeah I seriously doubt its adding any HP, but you're talking about Royal Purple motor oil, check the page out here for some in depth info--->

yeah, if you believe that an oil additive will give you more hp, i got some hi hp air to sell you to put in your tires...it will give you up 50+ hps..........

hey 99nos, be nice, hes a newbie. The oil will give your engine better protection against thermal breakdown. I heard some really good news from the oil and protectant. Negative, is that you will have to use the oil constantly. A buddy of mine tried the oil and his car ran great. After he changed the oil with some generic oil, he car went down hill, seals etc went bad. There is a relation with synthetic and oil stuff. Try to stick to one type so less problem. And as for motor oil adding HP ... hmmmm ... extremely highly doubt it. Probably adds HP like the Tornado Air adds HP.

That oil is called ROyal Purple. I am using it right now. IT does not give any HP gains. The car does run smoother then using Mobil 1.

yeah i was just asking because it was going to change the oil and i thought it would be good to explore my options, im going with mobil 1, thank you for the information, i heard switching to red line tranny fuild helps a lot for 5 speeds maybe while im at it ill change that too PEACE

OHhh wAit.. i forogot to ask whether you car was broken in or not.. if you dont' have 10k miles don't use any synthetic.. but if so, then go fully synthetic..
