Think this is an understatement?...

Found this on craigslist and can't believe how they're representing this car. I wouldn't call it an "easy fix" or "light front end damage". Check out the last pic. There has to be frame damage.

I've done several front-enders but don't think I'd touch this one without a big wad of cash in the bank.

it has been sitting in my backyard for 7month under sprinklers some white spots cameup that could be easily buffed out

Uh...not. 7 months under sprinkles = major buffing to remove them, if they haven't actually etched the paint.

He has himself a $2500 parts car.

I HAVE ONE THING.... to say is that car Is TOTALED period. I know that cars pricing is around aleast, ($2,500-$3,000). It also had a bad title. He said the car can be registered in OHIO and others places up north that will give you a good title for it. This car is going to need some serious work under the knife.

Let's not be too hasty to give up on any Maxima. I know a man who is really really good at taking dings right out of cars. A few minutes with this car and he could do wonders.

On second thought . . .

From the pics I think he meant "there's light ON the front end damage".

Wasn't it Spicolli who told his friend after destroying the friend's older brothers prized Trans Am - `Don't worry dude, my father has a righteous set of tools.' (or something to that effect)

Jalopnik.com has a daily feature called "Project Car Hell" like that. It's a compario between two cars no sane person would touch and you vote on them. Just histerical.

Oh yeah... that's like a few hours from here, Franklin, ID. Right on the Utah border. Pretty much nothing around there, just like the movie.

Was he trying to make the glare of the sunlight hide the real damage?
