AM_BlackMax - You must not be visiting here often enough.
Be VERY VERY ASSURED that ANYTHING anyone finds that has even the remotest POSSIBILITY of being tied in ANY WAY to the '09 Maxima will be splashed all over this board with far better coverage than Britney ever dreamed of.
The reality is that we have been smothered here for months with pics of an oriental vehicle that looks nothing like the '09 Maxima, and a video of a test vehicle that I am convinced is a 1966 Olds Delta 88 covered with tape and panels and obviously being used by Nissan to throw everyone off. I cannot imagine the furor here if a pic that could actually be the '09 Maxima surfaced.
If a pic of the '09 shows up, it will be plastered here in over a hundred threads. Don't EVER doubt that.

AM_BlackMax - In that case, the answer is simply no. But maybe soon . . .
ps - The tenor of my previous post was directed at the unending rehashing here of '2009 Maxima' photos that obviously aren't the '09 Maxima, not at you.

Scottwax - Yes, the Altima 3.5 is Nissan's 4DSC. By design. That is why the 3.5 Altima is such a solid performer (best performing car in its class per Consumer Reports). The Maxima will remain a very competent four door sedan, but will be a more-powerful near-luxury flagship with sales aimed at around 80K per year, while the 'all things to all people' Altima sales are targeted around 250K.
