Help Me!! I have bugs!

Help Me!! I have bugs!
Ok. This may sound funny to a lot of people that may read this thread but I have a slight problem here. Not sure if anyone else has ever experienced this or not, but as I was cleaning up my beautiful Max tonight, I caught something moving in the corner of my eye. I look down and what do I see? A damn roach coming out of my air vent. I wanted to kill this thing as fast as possible so he doesn't go running back into my vents and make more roaches so I grab the closest thing to bug spray that I had- a can of WD-40. Well, must have drove this roach wild because the thing started dancing all around in circles and while I was having fun laughing at it, I realized that he just might run back into my vents. So I kill it. Thought that was the end of the story but no. I get into my car, start driving away and another damn roach rears it's ugly head at me as he sits right outside my air vents on my dashboard. I slammed on the brakes (I was in a parking garage), put the car in park, and kill the SOB. That was two that I killed and I wonder how many more there are inside my year old baby. If I eat in my car, I always clean up any messes I make and I vacuum my car out almost every other day. Doesn't make me feel so good driving my car at night when every single shadow I see, I'll think it's a roach. Anyone ever experience this? I live in Hawaii so maybe it's just a problem out here. Any advice as what to do (short of spraying bug spray in my air vents) would be great! Thanks.

Can you just imagine? I call up these household people that spray homes for bugs and tell them that my car needs to be fumigated? What would that do to the interior? Those guys would die laughing.

I think you should look into dismantling the vent system, because I really don't think you can get rid of them. You don't want to put chemicals into your vent system, my *** you and the occupants have to breathe from it!
My folks once had a 80's Toyota Camry and *no joke* mice stored acorns in the air cleaner box. Obviously they could not get past the air cleaner so we'd have to open it up now and then and take the acorns out.

How big was it? I live in FL and roaches are a pain in the ***, one of those suckers can lay and egg with like 100 babies! :eek
unless theres a damp place for them to be living in your car i doubt you will see them anymore, unless they layed an egg

One thing about roaches, once you see one, there's about a million of them in hiding. Fumigation is one way, but you might just have to deal with it and give your car a good cleaning, then don't eat in it for awhile. Starve them to death.
