My friend who has a '98 ZX-2 sport 5-spd has decided to buy into the Nissan Family. He doesn't want a 4-door, and doesn't want the high insurance costs of the 300ZXTT...so...after having many lunch time discussions about cars, he has decided to get a S14 240SX and either doing a SR20DET swap or adding a turbo to the KA24DE. Now, neither one of us has had first hand experience with boost, but we are going to attempt to do this before next summer. His car is already for sale, and we already found his new car. A S14 '96 Electric Blue 240SX SE-5 with only 34k miles and the guy's asking $11,500 for it. We should get it by the end of this month, and then we will start buying the parts to do the mod/swap. Any suggestions? His ultimate goal is to get into low 13's, which seems to be very feasible according to the 240sx.org people. Can anyone here help me convince me and my friend not to do this!?!?! I think we're both crazy, but heh, its not MY car! hehe!

Sounds like fun!! I'm very envious of you guys. Make sure you photodocument the process and make a page!

Luck!

Oh the newer 240sx front ends are nice. Skyline brakes and 300z rear ends. Yummy
