what's the best material for a body kit

what's the best material used for a body kit cause this guy was offering me a fiberglass body kit custom made to my car using a body kit that doesn't fit my car...so i guess molded

i think eurathane is best

dont know if its spelled right but i know its stronger
than fiberglass.

any fiberglass kit that i have seen NEVER seems to fit right, id stick with urethane kits(Stillen,Eribuni) stay away from SARONA!

polyurethane is better. its flexible, and stronger.

fiberglass can be made pretty strong, and is definitely cheaper to make. the molding process for fiberglass is relatively simple compared to polyurethane.. which explains why its cheaper.

the newest Super Street (November 2001) did a good story about body kits and which materials are the best to use...reference pages 132-141 for more info...

When my car was nearly totaled the other month, someone had hit it from the rear while it was parked at around 35mph. It looked like I had a hatchback. However, the body kit had retained it's form and bounced back to the original position. If the bumper can get crunched and the body kit still keep it's shape, Polyurathane gets my vote
