Do you think 300 NA HP is possible on a 02?
I think as soon as I break in my new {soon to be } 02 6spd max I am going to do the following things: Intake, headers, RT cat, Greddy cat back exaust and UDP. I am not sure if my headers will fit but I am going to look into that this week. So anyways, do you think I could get 45 HP from this stuff? I think 45 HP is stretching it a little bit, but.. maybe? We will find out soon, but until then what kind of Crank HP do you think I would{will} get? Thanks.

Aznwonton, the Headers have a Y-pipe with them. I checked out the gasket #'s today though and they don't match up so I guess I will have to go with a Y-Pipe.

dyno in 4th gear since it's 1:1 ratio

Not with basic bolt-ons. To get more power they already have a better intake, Y-pipe and exhaust. Aftermarket parts won't make the same the same games. ECUs are a long way to never coming out. But I still think it can be done. Converting the car to Haltech, a set of custom cams and a good amount of port work would surely do the job.

Making runs in 50 degree weather than another in 80 degree weather is going to worth .2 to .4 seconds. How do I know? Because I've had slightly under 100 quarter mile runs on my NA 300ZX and I still have all my time slips (with weather conditions on them). My times are consistently .1 second slower for every 10 degree difference between the runs. If Dave makes a run right now, he'd be doing 14.4 to 14.5 @ 96-97 mph easily.

Actually, I have made a few runs in better weather. Back in early September, I went back to the track. Off the top of my head, the conditions were in the mid 70s, 60%+ humidity, and ~30 baro pressure. My runs for the night were in the 14.81-14.92 range at a whopping 95+mph with bad 2.3X 60 foots. My 95mph trap speeds were well over 1mph higher than I've ever gotten. My best et of the night was 14.81@95mph with a horrible 2.3X 60'. My best trap speed of the night (and a personal best) was 95.5mph. Keep in mind that my track is approximately 1000' above sea level, so those mphs would be a tad higher at sea level.
So in warmer weather I ran well over 1mph faster and only .08 slower with worse 60 foots than in April. I've analyzed my ets for the September night and it appears that my car is accelerating harder at all points on the track. I just can't put the power down. I plan on going back to the track within the week to see what I can do in 40-50 degree weather.
