all i know is I got paid today, went out and ordered redline mt-90 tranny oil, upgraded wiring harness, and a set of headlights

On my car, the Redline didnt really provide any benefits. It didnt free up any power (I dynoed tested before and after). All it really did was made the shifter "feel" stiffer when cold. After it warms up, it "feels" about the same.
Id save the $45 and instead go to Outback for dinner.

The Redline you put in will probably last the life of the vehicle.
You are in the small minority that didn't notice a significant improvement.
You didn't waste the money.

It's wierd, I used to think I needed Redline really bad, until I got my 60k service. Now I really have no complaints. I can easily shift into first when still moving, I never used to be able to do that. Eventually when my tranny fluid needs to be changed I'll probably use it though.
