We just got some new magazines in, and i checked out the August 08 edition (yeah, two months away) of Super Street, and found this in the readers rides section. Looks like Busterdawg! congrats man

really nice max, im just pissed they said "Dude, its a maxima"...as if maximas cant be fast....im sure the riced out civic i destroyed today would beg to differ....

 

I am sure they were ribbing him since he said it's luxious and VIP...that's where the "Dude, it's a Maxima" came from....

they aren't saying anything regarding the performance...since we know 4th gens can pull on z06s from a 100 roll according to some 4th geners....

FYI - Saw a 4th gen DESTROY a STI today on the highway to work..
STI - had quad pipes (wtf!! looked embarrassing); and a massive "Subaru Power" decal on the rear...

The STI was just beggin for the race, the guy in the 4th gen must have had some major mods done because the race lasted less than 18 seconds!!

max took him by at LEAST 8-9 car lengths
caught up with the guy..we looked at eachother and started to laugh like crazy...

funny, my old legacy (non-turbo old skool) took out a 4th gen on the street with no issue. Punk kept trying to jump me at the lights.

 

i need to go take pics and send my car in for submission to SS...

 

my stock i30 is extremly fast too!!!( not bashing anyone) no but i took out a modded accord ( bodykit, fart can , TRANSFORMERS DECAL!!!) hahah destroyed that guy and im all stock except for some subtle exterior mods.. it was great fun..

but yeah SS is kinda stupid and have more models than cars and i rather spend 5 bucks to get some knowlegde and see what other tuners are doing so i say project car or modified mag is better!!

 

What is really sad is that it is owned by the same company that puts out Hot Rod and Car Craft, both of whom use regular dyno testing. Not Super Ricey Street, they go by the butt dyno so they don't **** off their advertisers showing in a tech article that a $600 exhaust makes 1.2 hp.

 

Just curious but what did the 4th gen look like? I might know whose car it is, having worked on/tuned a few from T.O...
