Does anyone know what the towing capacity for the 2000 maxima is? I have a 2000 SE 5-speed and I want to get a jetski.

Man, you could pull a double jet ski trailer with two 3-seater 1300's. I have a jetski, and it pulls it like its not even there. BTW, my dealer said I should be able to pull up to 2000 lbs. with no problems. I've pulled many things with my max. Once, I had to pull a 21' boat on a double axle trailer. It prolly weighed around 2800 lbs. and it pulled great! Kinda hard to stop fast though! Especially with super sucky stock brakes.

The key

is the tounge weight.... if it's light, you could tow a lot. High tounge weight will cause problems in the suspension. But in general braking will suffer.
