You know you are driving a VQ when you start criticizing other people for flooring it when they are accelerating as fast as you, when you are pushing the pedal down only an inch because that is all you need to fly down a road.

You know you drive a VQ when you give your buddy a ride to pick his car up and you cut it loose in 1st gear all the way to 7,300 and all he has to say is...

That's what's up.

You know your driving a VQ when your car breaks down after you fill the tank up with Chevron 93.....every damn time.....

It was purely coincidence, the first time my starter went out after filling up when I got off of work...

Second time filled up when I got off of work again and idler pulley flew off a block from my house...

Lol Get the hell outta here!

You know you're driving a VQ when you have enough torque to chirp the wheels by accident from a stop.

This thread makes me laugh lol. Looking at some of these posts, I'll elaborate further.

"You know you're driving a VQ35 when you're trapping 100 with an intake."

Really? The only car I've ever had rev at me is some wannabe in an Accord.

Of course, my car's pretty stock-lookin', except for the muffler.

You know you have a VQ when someone tries to race you at a light, you let them launch on you and then catch them before your lane ends, then blow a kiss to their girlfriend in the passenger seat as you come out on top...oh and my clutch has been slipping the past few weeks and the car has 202k on it XD

You know you have a VQ when it gives you the confidence to take on a Evo MR.

Yeah, that was a dumb idea. But in that moment, it seemed reasonable.

You know you have a vq when instead of downshifting like your friends honda civic you can just step on it in fifth gear and catapult from 65 to 100

QFT, I think Maximas were engineered for on ramps or something, on an on ramp I feel like I could take on a vette and Ive scared a couple passengers with it

You know you have a VQ when your intake is louder than your exhaust leak

When on the freeway your doing 85 and some clown in a brand new grey dodge ram fullcab is coming up fast so you kick it up to 115 and the truck is still coming, and theres is a brand new crewcab black Ford F-150 also goin really fast seeming like he is racing the Ram so you slow down to let the dodge and the Ford by. Then 2 miles later the F-150 has pulled over the Ram and turns out to be an unmarked cop.

When you floor the car to hear it/show off the engine noise

when you have a 100% stock car full of people (4 including the driver) and you can beat a civic hatch with a swap, headers, intake, and exhaust and only driver in a 30 roll and onefrom a dig... on a closed course

You know when you're driving a VQ when your wife complains that the way you launch up to the speed limit makes her sick from the power then later admits she does it too while your not in the car with her 'cus she thinks it's fun too

You know you drive a VQ when your wife complains when you kick it n the ^ss past 5000 rpms in 1st, 2nd and 3rd and you explain that your only doing it to "test" the VIAS because you read on the org that the actuator plate might be loose

You know you drive a VD (K) when you have to explain to your wife what VIAS is!

You know you drive a VQ35 when it sounds like you hit VTEC at 4,000 RPM.
You know you drive a VQ35 when you realize you can make your own intake for $25.
You know you drive an auto VQ35 when the tranny slips during WOT upshifts because of all the torque.
