Sure enough my car was leaking oil from the pressure switch. Thanks for the link. I think these cars share a lot of common problems. It's good when people can be aware and have them fixed while the warranty is still good.

That's good to hear! The Oil Pressure Switch seems to be a common problem on about all 3rd and 4th gen Maximas......I can remember replacing the first one in my dad's '89 Max about 10 years ago......[newbieness]but I had it done by a mechanic [/newbieness]
