It's 3/4 inch thick, very comfortable to wear. The logo is stitched, so it won't wear off.

These things can get a bit pricey. My friend was in charge in making these for his employer. Cost was around $200 with the minimum of a 100 orders. It was pretty fancy cuz' the letters and symbols are embroidered. Of course everyone got em' for free.

i'd def be in for one, i'd pay like 5-10 ish, but make sure they are good ones, i had one from when i was a photographer covering the AST dew tour in orlando (it's like the x game) and when i put my keys on it i had broken it in less then a week haha, a good clip is a must

I would pay $7 shipped if it was embroidered and had a nice metal clip and it was the style of the one in post #1, the style in post #10 is F'n ugly.
The one i got from maxus was printed, and the letters are wearing off in places.

When you said 'printed' on there, I'm guessing you mean silk-screen?
How thick do you guys want them?
3/8"
5/8" <-- this's standard width
3/4"
1"
Standard length is about 36" around. How low it hangs on your chest/abs depends how thick your neck and chest is, obviously.
What color cloth, and what color font/logo?
Do you want generic font, or font like this website, or font like Nissan's. Or logo?

As for the .org logo... I dunno... I'm looking at the banner up there and the "THE HOME FOR MAXIMA ENTHUSIASTS" will be super tiny on there. It might not even be legible.
But if it just says "MAXIMA.ORG", I dunno, I think it's kinda lame... if I saw someone with that, I would think they bought it at one of those mall cart/vendors that make custom embroidered hats and license plates... screams CHEEZY to me.
So, if we go for a logo, which doesn't cost any more than just text (heck, we can do logo and text), what logo shall we use. Anybody here good with Photoshop and can whip up something not too detailed, using a silver color with black background?

black fabric, and somehow grey/silver lettering, got it.

Kicker Livin' loud Kicker Livin' loud Kicker Livin' loud Kicker
we could do someting similar, like with the home for maxima enthusiasts alternating

Well, I was thinking of the idea of 2 sides... 1 side would say "MAXIMA.ORG", and the back would say "Home for Maxima enthusiasts" in a slightly smaller font, so it would emphasize "MAXIMA.ORG"
If Nissan will OK my use of their Logo, I'd alternate text and logo.
Also, I'm looking at basic lanyards like the one in the first post...
I see that detachable lanyards like the Nismo one posted above is sorta popular. Of course, the detachable will cost more, and I don't know how durable those plastic clasps are. Any thoughts/opinions on detachable lanyards?

that would be great, having broken my fair share of lanyards i can say that they all seem to break differnt, i've broken some at the swivel and some at the clasp so you really need a combo of the two, a carabiner sounds great though!
