Nissan didn't put their SynchroRev technology on the maxima so when I downshifted I didn't rev match correctly (as no human can). The lurch shifted weight off my rear tires and the rest is history.

True story. I've got a lawyer working on it as we speak.

too bad you didn't have full coverage. it's dirt cheap on these cars and can easily net you 2gs or so depending.
