Am i hurting my max???

I recently installed my AGX and b+g springs. Yesterday when i was checking everything under the hood, I noticed that my driverside strut rod is popping out more than my passenger side.
By rod i mean the place where the middle bolt is bolted onto. I checked the screws height that was bolted on to it, but it was the same as the passenger side, my whole setup is off centerd and it makes a very weird noise when going over bumps.

Yes, i have checked the suspension issues sticky. No one has had this situation?? Thanks for the help.
One important thing was that, my friend told me that i might have broken the strut mount??? Any one know what he means?? Is this a major issue??

Thanks,
-Dhumil

You may be missing a piece of hardware on your strut. There is a 1 ich ruber spacer thingy on the strut, maybe you forgot to put it on when you swapped your suspension?

maybe the spring isnt seated right on the isolator and causing the spring to be higher than its suppose to be so that the nut cant fully tighten and thats why its so high.

i have checked the wheel gap on both front wheel, and they are the same. And as you informed i also measured the height of the center bolt tightened on both sides, and they also are the same. I am sure it is the rubber sleeve that i forgot to install, but i will get it checked by a mechanich as soon as i get off on friday. Wish me luck.

Thanks,

It's the rubber sleeve. What's happening is that without that, one side of your shock shaft is sitting higher than the other. The ride height will be the same because the springs control that and they're fine. This happened on my girlfriend's integra when I did the spring install.

hm
sounds like a bushing is missing or something
I would look at an OEM strut construction to be on the safe side. Is it making funny noises?

You've got metal to metal contact going on in the upper strut mount. Pull it out and take the upper strut mount apart. Make sure you have the rubber piece in correctly. It's looks like a sandwich when it's in correctly. Compare it to the good side of your car. I think you just have that piece in upside down. Turn is around and you should be OK.

i m gonna go check it out right now, i will also make sure that the springs are not upside down. I hope this does not cost me big. How much do u think it would be if i replace the strut mount rubber in the front???
