What to do...

So I just graduated from school Monday, and am now working full time at a good job making descent money.

Do I...

A.) Pay off the current car (97GXE) quickly and enjoy life without a car payment. Eventually (year or so) I would buy a sports car (I want a 95 300zx) and keep the max for daily use/winter.

B.) Sell my car and buy a newer used Max (like a 99 or 2k1 SE) with the goddies that I miss in my car. Sunroof, leather, etc would all be nice to have now that I can afford it. This way (at least for sure with the 99) I could transfer my mods, and return mine to stock and sell it.

C.) Sell mine and buy a new car. I was thinking a new Max or maybe splurge and get an Audi (maybe an A6 or an S4 if I can swing it!).

What to do, what to do.

I'm not really looking for a lot of performance increase, my car is quick enough for a daily driver (but I'd never complain about a faster car). I think I just want a nicer car. Sunroof, leather, power seats.

Keep the Maxima as a daily driver/winter car and save for what you really want. You'll really like life without a car payment.

save the $ and the hassle of stripping it and get a complete custom leather interior from leatherseats.com for 600$ and get an aftermarket sunroof installed = probably around 600-1,000$ parts and labor. and there is your leather and sunroof Trick out your max for the time being, until you see what kind of financial position you really are.. don't go blowing all the $ away, trick out the max, enjoy life

Anything but C) Audi. Those cars are wayyyyy over priced. And Japanese cars are more reliable and cheaper to buy. I have a lot of experience with germans. Dam they suck!

Tried...my local Nissan dealers don't have ANY, and don't expect any until mid december.

I'm thinking a 2000 or 2001 may be the way to go...

Then again, life without car payments would be nice.

BTW - My car is (short of a SC) about as modded as you can get, so "Fully modding" it is pretty much done. ;-)

If you are making good money then get a 330i or a 5 series. You will have performance combined with amazing handling and luxury. Audi A6 is more of an "old people" luxury car, with a very loose steering wheel (unless you like that ). My friend's sis has one and I drove it a couple of times, thats how I know. And that same friend also has a 330i, which is how I know how fast it is and how amazing it handles. In any case the choice is yourz and congratz on your new job.
