My aunt found a 99 SE/GXE for 9,500! WITH 30,000 MILES!!!

My Aunts taurus just blew up, and down at the ford dealership she found a 99 Sterling mist, gxe/se Not sure which, because i dont have much to go on...she knows its an automatic, and has a spoiler, no sunroof, and cloth interior, but she didnt get to look at it that good...
She Could have it right now for 9500 bucks! with 30,000...what a great friggin price, especially if its an SE!
And sterling mist=
I wish I had a 98 sterling mist 5 spd se with black leather, manual climate, and heated seats.... MMMMM, but my 97 black se 5 speed with tan leather will do...
Ne way just wanted to tell you what a great deal my aunt is getting...
Plus i will make some money being her mechanic for everytime it breaks!!!

Sterling mist powah. I used to hate the color, but now I am loving it. SE or GXE, they are both great....i personally prefer GXE (gimmick free).

Doesn't the SE come standard with a sunroof? It's probably a GXE. Nice price

Yeah, I love my 99 Sterling mist....but I wish it was a 97 black or something so I could put a new ecu in it and it would be easier to mod...but oh well, Ill take the 99 and wait till someone figures something out.

Nice ride. Have you ever been able to make your Alpine 7894 trim ring stick on? I was never able to acheive this with my 7894.

i guarantee its an SE. GXE's dont come standard with a spoiler. U should ask if it also has splash guards cause SE's come standard with that as well. SE's dont come standard with sunroof...

98-99 were the years where the rebates ran almost the complete model years, of course the cars will be discounted by at least that much. That's what people often fail to realize--you buy an new Explorer for 4 grand off, when you trade in, guess what? You will realize that 4 grand and then some deducted from your number. Considering a stripped GXE went for $16,995 back in 1999, 9500 sounds about right for a 4 1/2 year old car. A fully-loaded SE '98 goes for about 8500-10000, so if a person wants loaded they can go a year older and 15k more miles. Probably pick up ABS in the deal. Maxima has no resale value, so you fight it by keeping your car 5-7 years. You want a new car every 2-3 years? BMW will do you right, or Honda.

Yep! Honda got crazy resale value. I was looking for a 98 or 99 Accord LX, but couldn't find one under $12k (only found one that had like 110k miles for like 10k). New ones are like $18k. You should see the prices at CarMax

HAHAH, my aunt is a moron...its sunlit sand
She saw it from far away in a dark garage...
at any rate the car was a BASE-AS-IT-GETS GXE...the ONLY 2 options on the car are a spolier and auto tranny...
the car is, however...SPOTLESS, the car was driven by an old lady and you can tell...! It has like 2 scratches on the whole car... I popped the hood and the engine bay is equally spotless...you could probably eat off it...the engine looks different and has o2 sensors within reach of my hand..but its still the good ole vq! i have never seen the engine of a 99... The undercarriage is rust free also...it looks like a florida car...
I bet i could get Under it and unbolt the whole exhaust without using ANY solvent!
Well, Next week when she takes delivery of the car, I am Saying goodbye To my Red/clears, as they will now be occupying her car...I also ordered her some DC bumper Lenses off of ebay...and have secured a filter with which to make her a popcharger...With that she should be set for the time being! ...

Says who? just because you cant use an ECU for them doesnt make them slow buddy, and just because a MEVI is therefore useless doesnt make them slow either!!!

Dammit, im just ranting...

but my bottle makes up for all that 99s lack
