why does my car hate me
last week my car lost its idle point. i have a 95 SE 5 speed with 60 k miles. when the clutch goes down and the tach is supposed to drop to like 600-800 rpm range, it went straight to zero and just stalled, car drove perfectly fine, only thing messed up is the idle. First tried dry gas for water in the tank. next tightened throttle wire and raised idle screw about 1 mm and now it idles right where it used to about 700 rpms. i did that temporary fix. when ur car is cold it will usually idle at 1300-1500 rpms and gradually drops as the car warms up. my car will now only idle at where i set it, and wont go up or down, it struggles a lil bit when its cold too becuz its supposed to be up, but after car warms up its right where i set it. We changed the coolant sensor today, and it didnt do anything, what is the next step, what controls whether it will idle higher or lower depending on the temperature, thanks. tried search, cant seem to find an answer

Mine hates me too...don't worry!
Just try to ask people around here in the right way (i.e. with all information/history provided), and you will eventually find the root of your problem. If no one knows, keep reading ... I finally found the root of one of my problems by reading a thread posted recently.
