Im just looking for some inspiration to personalize my emblems. Anybody who has custom emblems, modified, replaced, painted- whatever isnt stock style please post pics to share your ideas.

Im not looking to steal anybody's style I just haven't really seen alot besides the debadge... I like the sexima mod but I dont want to be a copy cat. I thought about SER but it might be cheezy same with GTR, carbon maxima logos is cool but I cant find a matching SE for the other side...

if you guys have anything interesting please share. Once I make a decision I will show what I come up with

 

I saw a cool tutorial about using VHT Niteshades or another tinting spray on your chrome emblems for a "black pearl" look. Would look great if you have other smoked stuff on your car. I was meaning to do it this summer (I have red/smoke tails, AE headlights, and gunmetal 5th gen wheels, so it would match - right now my chrome looks totally out of place), but I ran out of time.

IMO, SER or GTR badges would be stupid, unless that's what you actually have.

 

I do. When i went to the junkyard last week, i went on a badge hunt.

I found a cool Datsun emblem from a 1983 Datsun Stanza, and got a V6 emblem off of a Mazda MX8. I put the Datsun logo on the top right of my 3rd gens back and the V6 logo on the bottom right of it, looks good. Still like the name Datsun better than Nissan. I can get a pic tomorrow

and yeah, dont use GTR or SER badges unless youre pumpin out equivelent horsepower of those models, its horribly riced.

I tried to take the GXE badge off of a 01 Sentra too, but its like a gel and just tears if you try and get it off

I got the Maxima badge off a 2nd gen too, but IMO it doesnt suit 3rd gens at all. after about half a hour the best combo i got was the Datsun and V6

 

yeah I was just looking at ebay emblems.... I didnt even think of checking the junkyard. Time to get creative

 

Junkyards are the best, you can get any size burgers, logos, emblems, anything. The picknpull here lets me have all of them for free so ive got about 10 riding around in the trunk. A flathead screwdriver is all you need to pry em off

Never will i forget the failing back in high school though, 5 guys went to Canadian Tire and jacked some turbo emblems and stuck them on their cars, nobody in the school had a turbo vehicle

On a recent junkyard adventure I came across a black Max that had these badges on the doors:

Since mine is a black SE, I couldn't resist getting them. Obviously, I haven't taken the time to install them yet. One day...

 

I bought an S and an E chrome lettering from Autozone, sprayed them black and but them on the back of my Maxima, looks great with everything else badged

 

How do I install a badge?

I have one but Im going to modifiy it, its one off a Lexus and Ill mixmatch it with this v6 logo
