I think the KYB AGX's are at tirerack for like $420 now. So that would definantly be a nice mod for under the 500 with rooms to spare for your next goodie.

6-foot Wing, Nozzle lights, neon steering wheel, tinted tire shine, curb feelers.... oh yeah I forgot this is a Maxima board(not Honda), hehe.

I would have to say Y-pipe for performance and suspension for handling, though I must say my 2000 SE does pretty good in stock form.

I prefer a good handling & braking car over one that can go fast in a straight line -> suspension.

Suspension.

Springs/struts will improve the handling of any tire, make the car look better/lower, and are easily removed and sold if you sell the car down the road. It is also less likely to cause any hassles like power mods can/do. Harder for a dealer to notice and give you a hard time about warranty also.

If you start off with an SE, then do CAI, FSTB, and RSB. I was like that with stock suspension for my car's 1st 100K miles. Great starting setup. Once the original suspension wears out, upgrade.
