Those with doubts about the down-time of the VB....

Anyone who has any doubts about the actual down-time of the VB mod. Dont. I sent out my VB on Monday afternoon, and today is Wednesday, and I just got it. 9:45 AM. 3 days, just like Don promised. Those people that complain(ed) about waiting months are the ones who didnt send in their VB's. Today I'm gonna try to put the VB back together, install the tranny cooler, put in my tokico's, and maybe wash her up, I put my rims on yesterday. 17" Konig Sub Zero's.

I'm glad to hear you had a good experience. I'm sure you'll love your new VB as much as I love mine. Enjoy!

I think that delays were/are caused by difficulty getting stock VBs back from previous customers, which Don then mods and sells to new customers. By sending your own VB in, you took yourself out of this loop. I don't think it takes long for Don to do the modification to the VB...your experience is testament to that.

However, when it works, the best way is to have Don send you the modded VB, swap it, and send your stock one back to him since this means your car is only down for the time it takes to do the swap. For folks who don't have other means of transportation, this is the only option.

hey, make sure you take your car to the track before you install and then once again after you install, for me you caould feel the pull but on paper, there was no difference in time!
