That would be a close race. the 3-gen would have to be a VE 5-sp though. I'm gonna give the VE-5-sp the nudge on this one. It's about a 7.0 +/- 0-60 car.

A 92-94 SE does 0-60 in 7.2 MT

and the quickeist 4th gen auto is a 95 which does 0-60 in 7.6 so the 3rd whould most likely win.

Re: A 92-94 SE does 0-60 in 7.2 MT

I've seen one test where the VE did a 0-60 in 6.7 sec. So I guess 7.0 is a good ave. Or 6.9? Yeah 6.9 sec. Sounds better. hehe

4th(stock auto) all the way, at least mine did. I have three friends with 3rd gen and they are all SE's 190hp(which makes a big difference in 3rd gen) and they are all 5spds. 89 92 93 I have pulled on them from 0-60 slightly and top end I really pull. The 92 seemed to hang with me the best so they switched drivers,(to someone that can really handle a 5spd) but my car still won. This is my experiences with my car so I suggest you try for yourself and see what you can do. However don't keep it in drive, put it in low 1 and shift at redline and do the same thing with low 2.
