My friend sellin me the max in the summer (for $5k) really doesn't know much about the car. He knows what it looks like inside and out, but when it comes to details, he falls kinda short. The finer details include:

sunroof
leather
wood dash
navy blue paint

I know it's the GXE cause it's auto and has just about no engine/audio options (i.e. tape deck). I've never seen a navy blue 5th gen max, and was wondering if he's mistaken it for the 2k1 aniversary edition that came in neptune blue. I don't know what shade blue "neptune" blue is, but I was wondering if any of the 2k maxes came in navy blue.

 

No, the 2k1 anniversary edition came in Majestic Blue. The 2k max only had Powder blue (light).

He specifically said it was a navy-blue color. I know it's not a light blue. Is the majestic blue a dark blue color?

Okay, I found out what color majestic blue is. The real question is...

Was majestic blue an option in the 2k GXE or GLE maxima's?

only the 2k1 AE's and 2k2's

I think it's a GLE. I looked it up, and the GXE doesn't come with leather (at least Nissan doesn't say it does), but the GLE does. Since it's not a 5spd, it must be the GLE. And if the AE was the only kind availible in majestic blue (other than the 2k2's), that must mean I'm getting a 2k1 GLE for $5k. I'm SO happy!

 

Does the leather have little holes in it? And is there a GLE badge on right side of the trunk?
