I got my new wheels in last week and we did more test fitting today on Kev.Wong's car..

His 17x8 +32 SSR Integrals clear with like 1mm (at most) from the caliper.. tho the +32 sits outside the fender from what we can tell. (didnt lower car, just fit rim)

My 18x8 +38 ADR Kasai clears like a ****.. probably have 4-5mm of clearance. If they made +40 i think that would have been the perfect fit.

Kev's currently using 17x8 +50 Lexus GS400 wheels.. with a spacer. And it still barely clears.

My 18x7.5 +42 axis se7ens just don't clear. If they were about +36, theyd clear. (spacer makes it that) .. but with a spacer, the open nuts dont spin more than 4 times, cant secure the wheel.

Basically.. if you want wilwoods to fit.. try to stay under +40. After that its gonna be spoke pattern, and what kinda lugs your wheels take... non-spacer of course.

If you wanna go spacers.. sometimes youll have to get used to that nastly wobbly sound.. unless you buy custom ones with lugs welded on. (Or H&R has them)

Just blabbering, hope someone finds this useful.

So much about thinking of getting the Integrals 17x8 with 40mm offset... Thanks!

ya think Konig Tantrum 18x8s will fit? I think 40mm right now. My Wilwood kit is on the way hopefully this week or next week.

Anyways, you gonna paint the Wilwood calipers? I'm thinking about it... :P

Chunger, yah thats definitely a no go..

mrb23, 18x8 +40 should work. Hopefully it takes standard lugs. Any of the short lug things just reduce your chances. (my se7ens)

Yep, time to shave another 12-15lbs off each wheel on top of that saved with the Wilwoods Brakes...

I should feel a huge difference... It's hard to find a decent looking rim that's light, though.

SSR GT1 or GT3 ... MMMMM (wishes) Theyre not real light, but damn theyre so nice lookin. Theres always volks.. but theyre gettin generic lookin. (Wouldnt mind tho ) I like one or 2 of the blitz wheels too..

all of them are pricey, but your lowenharts werent exactly cheap either.

there are always Racing Harts Blitz, you saw mine right? but they are insanely expensive, in the 17"s they'd be probably be around 600-700 each. Also Blitz rims have huge lips and it kinda interferes with the clearance of the brakes. even with 19x8.5s I need spacers to clear my brake kit.
soooo no way an 18x7.5 rim will clear either brake kit is there? (Wilwood or Stillen/AP) Cuz i found a sweet set of 18x7.5s for cheap....

Racing hart is getting confused with RH Evolution, and it ****es me off, so I ignore the whole brand.

Blitz are nice, but even my discount is like 400/ea .. screw that, id get jacked so fast.

18x7.5 *CAN* clear.. you just need a funky offset (which no one who makes 18x7.5 will make, cuz thats like generic .. theyll do 40 or 42) .. or spacers, which suck. Or.. if you get lucky.. a spoke design can make the difference.. im just not willing to gamble a thousand or more each time to find out.
