Car computer install?

I remember a website that had details for installation of computer in a Maxima, but i can't remember the site. I have used the search function, but found nothing. Specifically I need to know how to hardwire the power inverter, where to run wires through from the trunk. Also what software should I use to run the computer and control the screen resolutions? I have a 5" lcd, its small but good enough for winamp and dvd's. Any help is appreciated

Been thinking about this mod

I think the best approach is put a docking station in the trunk that is already wirded up to an LCD in dash.. and with the wonders of USB, you can link up your wireless keyboards and track ball mouses...

And a DVD in your glove box...

This allows you for a cleaner install, looks the same as a all out install, and you can remove the laptop for use outside the car..

On top, laptop parts are a lot more sturdy..

And no worries of power regulation, as it comes with a batter and charger...

And no damage from extreme heat or cold, because you can remove it..

Its smarter than sticking a full computer into your car which you might not be able to use all the time..

COME ON how many tripds do you make that are like more than 10 minutes??

hehe
