Needle goes to "H" 2000 GLE

Needle goes to "H" 2000 GLE

Notice yesterday(100+)" driving fr about 30mins in local traffic the temp needle approach "H".....all coolant is fill. Fan is spinning, after reading some post on overheating can be different problems...can someone direct me what 1st should I check?
My AC doesn't work, tried the can that Pep Boys sell, temp shows its fill with freeon.
This morning i start the car for 1hr and needle stays in the middle...

Make sure you've done a coolant flush, if the car can't cool the motor under load, that could be issue. Or actually, I'd also check the water pump. Not totally sure how difficult it is on this car. Also, check the thermostat or stats. Other than that. Your compression could be going bad on the car. Doubt it, but possible.

Does using your heater solve the problem? If so, look in front of your radiator(between ac condenser and radiator) on mine there was all sorts of crud. Removed the fan shroud, blasted it with a garden hose, and now I'm good as new! Total cost: $0

try bleeding your coolant system could have a large air bubble in there
