What car did you drive before the maxima?

1978 Datsun 200SX, a sporty 5 speed manual chick-catcher. In fact, it caught my daughter's eye so much I had trouble finding the car in the garage when I wanted to go somewhere.
But I have owned nothing but Maximas (every gen after the first) since Oct 1984.
I owned nothing but American vehicles between 1949 and 1978. Before 1949, I did have the priviledge of taking short drives in such vehicles as a Terraplane, a Cord, a Ford, a Pierce-Arrow, a Tucker, etc, which belonged to various friends and relatives. The first car I drove on a regular basis was a '49 studebaker.

My first vehicle was a 1994 F250, regular cab big block (460) and a 4 inch lift on 35s. I still have it, but its more of a toy now...I couldn't handle the 8 mpg every day anymore and I bought the Maxima in 2005 as my DD. Still love both of them to this day

before i had my I30 i had a 94 saturn sl1 1.9L 85hp! WOOOO! i got that just before i joined the army and spent the who time trying to figure out why there were no parts to my my tbi set up faster becides an engine swap. then i found out why. its made to get mpg not mph. so i did what any kid who found out his car cant be fast did, i fan boied the **** outa it.

then i bought my dream car a 1978 chevy el camino. ive wanted one since i was 4 years old, and i finally got mine. i paid about 1k too much for it, but hind sight is 20/20. so after rebuilding the engine for 2 years i got to drive it about 5 times before the th350 blewup and now im in the process of rebuilding a 200-4r trans by my self in the basement of my job.
the 3rd car i had was a 97 saturn sl2, 5 speed. i had it for about a month because my neighbor didnt want it anymore and always saw me working on my saturn, so he offered to sell it to me for 100 bucks. i bought the car right there on the spot! it needed new tires, front brakes, the sun roof leaked, and the headliner was sagging bad. so fro around 200 bucks i fixed the leaky sun roof, put new rotors and pads, got some headliner glue and fixed it up like new. and it only had 56k miles on it. i regret selling it for 2100 bucks but then i wouldnt have all this for my elky:

The Sentra Spec V looks good man, I know a few others who have had one and they hate the motor (because it cant rev) but love the torque! Both of them blew the motor over revving it...and one of them got a brand new engine from Nissan.

And out of all these cars.. I love my 1995 Maxima the most and I plan to keep for a while.
