Will they fit on 4th gen? I gust got them in the mail today.

 

Ummm, isn't this generally the type of question you ask BEFORE buying????

I own a 3rd Gen, but I think they'll fit... do a search or two (17x7.5 or offset, etc.)

 

All the searches say 35-40, but sweetsound? was selling some rims with 42mm and said perfect for maxima. So I just wanted to know.

 

you should have no problem. My Konig Toxxins just came today also. They are 42 offset also.

Would anyone care to explain an ignorant person like me what offset really is.

 

From what I have read, as long as your off set is between 38-45, you will be fine.

Offset determines how the wheel will sit in the wheel well, closer to the inside of the car or further away from the inside of the car.

As offset gets higher (+) the wheel sits further inside the wheelwell. As it gets smaller (-) it gets pushed out. Enjoy your wheels!
