Bubbles in engine oil???? (4th Gen)

I just checked my oil now, and noticed there was a lot of little bubbles. I need a water pump because the bearing is making a noise, but could this be the cause of the bubbles? Or could it be a bad head gasket? I thought if the head gasket was bad, the car would smoke badly from the tailpipe? I have no smoke from the tailpipe. BTW, I got a 95 auto, 153k on the odo. Thnx in advance.

I've noticed this before, but it was never as bad. i mean there was a little bit of bubbles here and there, like at the bottom of the dipstick, but now, at least 80% of the dipstick (oil area)had bubbles. Kinda weird I guess.

But I guess on the bright side, it'still running good, I took and ITR last nite, lightly modded(CAI only) and took him from a roll.

bubbles

sometimes bubbles means your oil is overfilled.

the crank hits the oil and foams up. Make sure your not overfilled!
