sold my MAXI for $7000, and got a stock 92'TSI (AWD BABY) with broken Radio for $2200. very nice car, very fast of course. Tomorrow SX7R is ganna help me install the timer, and up the boost. better Watch out i am coming for your baby blue CIVIC, WICKHAN!.

BTW, my NOS kit is still for sale! lol

You know a turbo timer doesn't increase your boost right? I hope you got a boost controller of some sort, otherwise you can't turn up your boost. Unless of course you start pulling off certain vacuum lines and stuff, which is the ghetto way to get more boost in a turbo car.

 

Good luck with the new car. You getting a new stock radio or going aftermarket for that?

Good lick with your DSM Paul. I know i had terrible luck with mine.

Turbo timer is for when teh car shuts off so it gets its proper 1 min shutdown (b/c of boost).

DSM = T/E/L = Talon/Elcipse/Laser

89-94 are 1st gens
95-99 2nd gen
2k + 3rd gen.

 

Good choice... just don't expect it to be rattle free!

The heads on your car flow much better than the 95 up... You will still need a larger turbo if you want to go much past 250 hp.

heehee, the car seems nice for it age, no rattles. just the damn hatch need some new hydrolics.

well......the mod'ing on the DSM didn't go very smoothly as we thought it would. didn't up the boost, haven't even get to the part yet. but we opened the BOV up without having it venting the boost back to the intake pipe, sounds excellent, but i lost 2lb of boost, and in 3rd i lost 4lb of boost,BUT SOUNDS VERY FAST!LoL Shhhh...........PSSHHH!

Tomorrow, Blitz Dual TT should be in along with a STS, and a REAL BOV(TurboXS RFL). wish me/sx7r luck guys!
