the brakes on my 96 maxima are making tis anowing noise, I think it's time to change them. Do you know what break pads are supposed to be good, where to get them and how much would it cost to get just the parts for all 4 wheels.
thanx

Axxis Metal Master. Most guys here like them, some don't. I've had nothing but good experiences with the Axxis pads. They've been on all my cars. I even put them on my Mom's Accord.

I can get you the front pads for $25 and the rear for $38. It might be a delay for the rear pads. I've had a set on order for about 2 weeks now and am still waiting.

Porterfield

I have the R4S's and I love them. They are a huge improvement in stopping power, and they don't fade. They are also very quiet, but they dust a lot. I think they are about $120 directly from Porterfield.

*cough* Stillen *cough*

I have them and love them. Cheaper than Porterfields, stop very well, and no dust. I don't really even notice any warm up time like I used to, which was always breif anyway.

Front pair $25
Rear pair $38
Plus shipping.

I'm going to stock on a few of these to avoid long waits. For some reason, the rear pads are warehoused on the East Coast.. I guess they aren't a hot seller.

Backs cost more than rears? 38 is still not bad. What do you think of getting the Axxis rears matched with my EBC fronts? I'm still running stock out in the back.

Phoung,

If I want to order a set of the fronts that would be $50 right? Since it is $25 a side? (pardon my naiive question, please).

I think I need to come up upon a new set of those in a few months--where should I send the money and etc?

thanks,

Brian =)

Brian, the front are $25 a pair, which means left and right side - not $50. But, if you want to pay $50, I'll be more than happy to rape you for all you've got! j/k bro hehe

Yep, the rears are more expensive. As to why? I don't know for exactly, but I've found that other vehicles are the same way.. the rears are more than the front. My guess is supply/demand.

So how do you work? You take CC? Where were you when I got my EBCs?! I ended up getting the EBCs for like 58 dollars. And a set of Bendix pads for the back for like 35 or something. I didn't even bother putting the bendix pads on because they weren't performance pads and I still had a lot of rear pads left. I could have saved a lot of money and had performance pads all around. Oh well..

Haahaa

Well, thanks very much Phoung for the explantion--that would be a great deal...so I should just send to money to you then--goodies...I see Zumble over there is having a giddie time with the prices.

Yeah, these bendix crap is already half gone according to my brake inspection last weekend when they looked at the front. But the back seems to be in immaculate condition, though...5000 lousy miles and half gone. Well, I have heard the Axxis are better.
Zumble--you getting a pair too?

it seems you are--with that grin of yours.

heheh

I actually want SS brakelines.. =) You carry those Phuong? Damn it Phuong.. you're making it too easy to spend money!

LOL I've been here. No one bothered reading my posts cuz I was probably a newbie back in the day haha

Yep, I can accept Visa, MC, or American Express. I have a credit card terminal, so there's no need for Paypal.

TechnaFit SS brake lines (DOT Approved) are $116 plus shipping. I would recommend installing DOT 4 brake fluid at the same time. Three bottles of NEO DOT 4 brake fluid is $33.

No, they aren't "Pep Boy" pads.

Put them next to an Axxis pad and compare.. =)

I'll be unavailable from 12 pm to about 4:30 PM EST today (Thur). After that, you can reach me @ 717.615.9790. I have a haircut appointment @ 7:45 pm EST tonight so I'll unavailable at that time, too hehe.

Yep, I carry PIAAs.

GReddy, Stillen, Blitz, A'PEXi, Eibach, Tokico, HKS, etc.. if it's a major manufacturer, I can most likely get it. I don't bother with the "inferior" products. I only sell the best. My saying is "do it right and do it right the first time".

Yep Yep. If it's a 90-95 MR2, the KYB AGX adj. shocks are available (I like these better than the Tokicos).

GReddy TT? Sure.. what color? Black, white, silver, red, blue hehe

I've got a GReddy T-78 turbo kit with your name on it! It's only $3654!
