Where to buy PR CAI in time for X-mas ?(besides Custommaxima)

Well, it is just announced that Greg over at Custommaxima.com is out of PR CAI's and won't be getting them in for another 2 weeks. I have used google, and the search....nothin'. Can anyone direct me to a company that has these intakes in stock and is sellin' 'em?

I know but I don't like the idea of a black CAI in a black engine bay of a black car.

Or do they have other colors in stock ?? I know about the surcharge, but are they in stock ??

when i ordered mine from them, i wanted it in red. they didn't have it in stock but said they would see what they could do. next thing i know i'm getting a call from them saying they contacted the manufaturer and are going to drop ship it to my house, no extra charge. so to answer your questions, they do have other colors and if they don't have them in stock they can check place racing's stock.

Does it have to be PlaceRacing??? What about the Warpspeed CAI? Pretty much the same thing, different brand name and cheaper.

They don't have their K&N ones in stock yet.

But you could by cone filters from autozone for $20. They aren't K&N but they can be washed and oiled the sameway.

Looks like no cold air intake anywhere close in time for Christmas
Not the first time that WSP has been in error about my products. If they really told you that about my company its pretty outrageous.

Cattman Performance has EVERY 1989-2001 CAI in stock, for $199. And hey, odds are good you won't find your favorite color in a CAI and black goes with everything.

Now that the custom-finished black stainless Breeze clamps are in, the Cattman "All-Black" CAI finally is all black. Black clamps, against custom black Purosil silicone hose, black tubes, and hard-anodized black MAF adapter. OK, the K&N filter is not black. Check the specs, they're the best available at any price.

And, they're in stock, only an airplane ride away before Christmas.

just spotted your private msg, I never see those things on time. anyway, my answer was more or less that the chrome isn't available (although a nice metallic silver is), but the way to do it would be to order one from Place Racing in "pre-powdercoating" condition (nice and smooth), then have the upper and lower tubes chromed yourself. You should save a little because the pieces aren't powdercoated and you wouldn't want the kit assembled. No point in paying full price just to sandblast off the powdercoat.

Brian,

WSP didn't say that directly about Cattman, just generally that company's are sold out of CAI's now. A honest mistake.

Due to the crazy Christmas rush I have completely sold out of the 95-99 Cold air intakes. I still have two sets of 3rd gen left and one set of the 5th gen.

also to let you all know I just ordered a bunch of Blue intakes, so now you are not restricted to just silver. I am expecting to have more cai in about two weeks. In the mean time you can see if Place Racing has any in stock and pay full retail for them, or just get a black one from Cattman.com
