My headlight housing is all melting...

and stinking up the inside of the car whenever i have the air on. it looks like its about to go. i have matrix 90/100w bulbs in now, ill put my stock ones back in when i get home later tonite, but what do i do about it? the housing is all melted and cracking, and the light is a lot dimmer than the other bulb that isnt melting. is this an expensive boo boo? and should i keep using the matrix bulbs?

you should NOT run higher wattage bulbs without APC Upgraded headlight harness.. if you have one.. then i would use a different bulb..

Is your headlight HOUSING melting or the HARNESS? I fried my when I ran 80/100W bulbs in mine.

You can make your own by buying the 9004 connector harnesses from PEPBOYS and wiring up a relay straight to the battery like I did.
