JWT ECU in, Knock sensor out?
JWT ECU in, Knock sensor out?
I put a JWT ECU in my car and the check engine light came on after two days. I thought it was triggered by my transmission resistor bypass switch but it wouldn't reset. I took it to the dealer today and the reader came up with Knock Sensor and Line Pressure S/V. I know what caused the Line Pressure fault but I'm not sure about the Knock Sensor. Is the sensor bad or does it mean it's detecting a knock? If it's detecting a knock, is this being caused by my ECU upgrade? I haven't used anything less than 93 octane for about 3 or 4 months cause I knew I was getting the ECU and it recommends 93 or higher for it. I need some help with this little problem.
