You took it upon yourself to get offended. Since I was the ONLY person that mentioned the band aid fad.. I took it that you are calling me a B!TCH! enough said. A band aid is a band aid. It says nothing about a person not being able to fix their car. It's a fad! this is what the forum is about. What FAD have we been seeing . good or bad.. it doesn't matter. thanks. the end.

thanks.
You are trying to start **** out of nothing. The man was clearly joking when he said "b1tches gonna be hatin' on my band aids." It's called humor. He was not trying to call you a b1tch. Stop being an idiot.

Major fad is VQ35de swapping into 4th gen Max, but the rising cost of the engine will curb that...no ?

Super-stretched tires, excessively wide rear wheels with super-stretched tires on a front drive car. That couldn't possibly handle good...

A fad (option) that got started, then was discontinued due to cost reasons, then returned to improve fuel economy was the 4-speed automatic with a lock-up in 4th gear.

In 1956 GM introduced an improved version of the Hydramatic named the Jet-A-Way Hydramatic that allowed the driver to hold the transmission in second or third gear until the maximum allowable upshift points, for improved performance in traffic or in mountain driving. The 4-speed (4th 98% lock up) transmission was eventually discontinued for cost containment reasons and eventually replaced with a 3-speed named the Turbo Hydramatic.. Rolls Royce licensed the 4-speed (Jet-A-Way) and continued to produce it for decades..

Anyways, there ain't nothing better than "throwing out the baby with the bath water" .. LOL
