I had to say goodbye.

Well, after the original purchase date of August 1st, 1999, our 2000 Maxima stayed in our family for a good 11 years, being driven by three different drivers through that time. Each of which were treated right by her.

She was our baby, and she kept us safe through:
A car backing into us, a fender bender, and even after hitting a dog in a blizzard. She held up for the longest time but eventually started to get more and more sick as the days went on, so we had to sell her.

I'm happy to say though that she's in the warm arms of another family who (better) treat her right.

Maximus, you were once my love.

(Now, it's time to move onto an 01 Pathfinder LE!)

Actually, I (somehow) managed to maintain a 16-17mpg average with my Maxima. So I'm not really looking into anything new. Besides, it takes 87 vs 93 which is a LITTLE bit better.

You must've driven everywhere in first gear. I average 25-27 MPG combined highway/city.

You know, that may have been it!

It's mostly..."town" driving though, so that might be a part of it. Plus 180k miles and all that, so she was getting bad mileage with me but she has moved on now to a new family

But I'm loving the Xterra...
