My Car Is repaired YAY!!!

I got my baby back from the shop today, They did a good job, They said they used some sorta glue to bond the panel on and they welded the corners, they said they did it this way because the welds tend to rust. This is the origanal Thread where the damage is. http://forums.maxima.org/general-max...r-got-hit.html

not too bad of a job..to the trained eye you can tell where the damage generally started/was repaired...btu they did real good. probably should have sanded a little bit more for the gap around the door..but good nonetheless. whats the plans now?

Lettuce know how it goes. That's the problem with body damage, it can be tough to get it looking perfect once again.

Interesting, did they let you choose which shop to take the car to or was it up to them?
I know it may be worthwhile to look up a reputable body place in the area. I think theres something in the policy that says that you get to choose where you want to take your car if you have a preference.

Looks good! I can't even tell there was anything wrong until I actually took time to examine the picture.

I mean I am sure no one is gonna walk by your car and get a magnifying glass and tape measure to measure all the gaps and point out that it isn't perfectly 2MM all around or whatever.

Glad you got everything worked out. Getting your car fixed after things like this with insurance is a real pain.

I love your car and the way you have it lowered and all, but PLEASE don't ruin it with a touring lip.

Looks as good as new!!

The body shop you went to did a fantastic job. I saw the original photo of the impact damage. You cannot even tell where it was.

What is the name of the shop you went to? Do you have their number handy? I live in Lancaster PA, not too far from you. Maybe they can give me some kind of an estimate on what it would cost to do a complete repair and detail on my '96 Maxima.

Thanks, and enjoy driving your newly repaired Maxima. And drive carefully!!!
