The EGT I worry about is what it is at the 1/4 mile mark, I would re dyno with the 8:1 before you try the 6:1. Bring some two step colder plugs just in case the 6:1 is a bit too lean, they might fend off detonation if it is too lean with the one steps.

284 is dam good on an automagic! Its a shame the 3.125 will only give me ~9.5psi with my weak V1.

How many horses are you getting out of your V1 ?

Do you have any sound/video .wavs, mpegs, ect of your V1 in action?

I'll probably bring the 8:1 next time and use that if it does get lean. If it is lean, I'll follow on your advice and take two step colder plugs the dyno after.

Don't worry, you got juice to easily up the hp.

No A/V of my Max with the V1 yet, my IEEE card is freaking out.

As for HP I would guestimate ~265fwhp when I had the 8:1 FMU disc in. Because I ran a 13.8 with 250hp from nitrous and a 13.6 with ~8.5psi.

Kev, take your car to the track! You don't have to wait for Turbomax. If I wasn't getting rid of my car, I would have gone to the track already. Come on Kev, show them what a SC Maxima could do.

my predictions were correct, something is wrong with my ignition. my power curve was very jagged. max torque 175.3 max whp 166.5 i was hoping to get closer to 170.. but i'll see what happens as soon as i fix what ever is wrong.. i average about 18-19mpg on my 18" wheels which is not that great so i think something is wrong with the ignition.. does anyone know if any manufacture makes coil packs for our maximas?

Darn good #'s, that's about the same numbers put down by a friend of a friened running a V1 sc'd 98 4.6L Stang on 6psi 5spd, considering you're auto and 2 less holes under the hood, that's like wow

oh yea, I have an SCC mag with a 2k 5spd running on 9psi w/ y-pipe and stillen cat-back putting down 307 fwhp & 253ft/lbs. So your numbers sound about right, being that your magickly automated

Dyno'ed your car today... running rich like me.

You actually put down more torque and hp up to 5400 than my car... but it didn't last because you don't have the 5th gen intake runners.

Yeah, it was the PPG pace car Maxi. It dynoed 318hp, and 307hp, so they went with the lower numbers, cuz the hi #'s were when cold, so it was more "real world".
