Thats funny. Diesel is 3.79 here, while Gas is 3.83 Has been this way for awhile diesel has not been a dollar more for months.

I feel quite embarrassed. I drive by that station every day and those are the prices on their sign. I haven't bought diesel in a while and really hadn't paid attention to any other stations. I just called said station and they said, "Oh, we stopped selling diesel." lmao. I told them they should pay some kid $5 to remove the prices altogether. Anyway, on-road diesel is 3.89 here and farm or off-road is 3.29. My mistake. Sorry for the confusion.Originally Posted by 94VEmaxpax

I still stand by my other statements, though. When diesel prices increase, generally speaking we ultimately end up paying more for most consumer goods. And of course, when diesel prices fall, we still pay the same. Go figure.

Edit: Maybe slightly off topic, but diesel prices increase around here in the late fall and winter because some people including me use heating oil which is essentially off-road diesel. I have had to use on-road before = expensive heat.
