This bothers me

many people see a maxima and think nothing of it (they dont know the capabilities of the vq haha). guy in a mustang at work said something about racing me and doing a 40 roll which i denied and said 60 instead. lol (he laughed) he doesnt think i need to be doing a 60 roll because my car simply cant spin at 40 and nearly wipe out everything next to it. lol why is it that i gotta keep proving what this car can do.

what moncef said. Everyone under estimates the VQ. I know of a 5.5 gen right now that can rape some V8's, people dont believe it but thats their ignorance

You don't. Why do you care? If you're bound and determined to use your car in a Big D1ck contest, then at least stop wining about it. In the meanwhile, you have a red, 1999 SE Limited with a VQ transplant, for crying out loud! You don't have anything to prove to anyone. That's a special car.

This is a dumb thread. You should delete it and shake off that racer-boy angst.

You don't have anything to prove, let him swim in his own idiocy. You'll never change the opinion of a "fanboy", you'll only get apples to oranges rederick in return.

I can assure you that this isn't true. There's allot of them out there that are like that, but this is true with just about every car following. How many Maxima owners think highly of Mustangs? The problem is, respect is a two way street. You won't get it if you don't give it.

it surprises me how segregated car communities are about their vehicles. like appreciating aspects of another car outside of some super rare unattainable exotic would some how make invalid the feeling of their own car.

Same here, I've never understood why people need to be this way. I've owned a few different cars, and appreciated each one. I've seen stupid hate/fanboyism from just about every side, but that's how the game goes I guess. I'm wondering how long it's going to be before one of these Maxima guys assumes their post and takes issue with me because I own a Mustang or two. Nevermind the interest I have in getting a 5th gen SE, it's all forfeit if you have the audacity to own a Mustang LOL.
