You guys should of noticed that Acuras HIDs are being stolen pretty often. I wonder if 02 maxima lights are the same easy way to take, is nissan smarter and made it harder to steal. Makes me wonder if I want to leave it on the street

I see some mentioning of this at the cl and tl forums. I put my car in the garage at night, and try to stay away from bad neighbourhoods.
I don't have any alarm stickers on my 2002 though. May be I should ...

stealing headlamps sounds very silly, but I guess there's nothing silly about $$$. Reminds me of a Honda dealer a few years back that got the driver's and passenger air bags stolen out of every new car on their lot. Pretty bad security for that to happen.

 

2k2 headlamps retail for $1400 per pair
