It was a necessary evil at the time. We can re-evaluate the change in the next 30-60 days if interest maintains and challenges seem to be done in a more timely manner. It was presumed we would go back to 2 days once school and fall/winter rolled back around.

I understand. Sounds fair. It's just times like this recent one where waiting all week seems silly.

Mom and pop store is easy enough!

Like Chris said, it was necessary at the time. There is a way to bypass that rule though...go do the challenges then we don't have to wait. even now, there is only 5 or so people that even show any interest in this game and 3 of us have been here since day 1 basically.

You get burnt out quickly when there are only 3 people playing and you have to run around every 2 days to complete the challenge because of the lack of participation for whatever reason. Makes sense?

Ps. mom and Pop is mine

Good thing you got it...but just so you know, you did not get points for that and you are still in the negative. The only way for you to get to zero is to complete the challenge i just posted. Good luck.

Thanks...I wish I could figure out how to stop the lights from doing that glare thing though. Any ideas? Know anyone that would know?

what are you using as a camera? cell phone? regardless, you need to adjust the focal point of the lens. I've got my Android phone (T-Mo Mytouch 3g) settings to where when I'm taking a pic, it will focus on where I touch the screen...that helps some.

Also, taking the pic at more of an angle...like take 10-20 steps to the right or left of that picture and you'll have a better angle and (hopefully) less glare from the lights.

Took steps to the left and found more lights to glare http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/...r/IMAG0312.jpg LOL

I am using my HTC Hero S (Android) camera. Which setting did you use for the focal point setting?

well damn...store windows ftl

on mine, I have auto-focus set to on...and I just touch the screen when I'm in camera mode, and that's the point where it focuses on. It's not an actual "setting"...it just happens...

On my Nikon camera, it's a setting labeled "focus area" iirc...

For someone who was complaining earlier about the 5 day rule and it taking too long, you sure did pick an awfully specific challenge. How many people do you think can readily find a giant blow up gorilla? My bet, not many, if any, can. I know I can't.

Not trying to give you a , but i am speaking from experience. Making it less specific, like giant blow up anything might make it more doable for everyone. But hey, It's up to you. Just saying we may be waiting for another 5 days. Remember too, if no one can do it, you need to do it or lose a point so of you keep it, I hope you know where there is a giant blow up gorilla.

On another note...I was thinking of doing the dealership challenge as VW specific, and if I had to do my own, it was going to be at a VW Dealer. So it's funny that yours was at a VW dealer Also, New Port Richey, I believe my grandparents lived there before they died.

I love how at the VW dealer, his max is next to an Altima and an Edge, near an Impala, mustang, and Expedition...with the only VWs in sight being the Passat and CC in the first pic

Giant blow up gorilla? aww crap.

Alright gixxer you win. Lol that made sense at 2am while half awake.

Next: your max next to a giant blow up display! (The most common include a hot air balloon, gorilla, I have even seen a rubber duck lol. The only thing I will exclude are those skinny string things that just zig zag in the air!

This should be better for everyone

VGKID, please re-read the challenge. I think the "skinny string things" means the type you are mentioning.

This ^

Those don't really count as an inflatible because they don't inflate. There's gotta be some blow up thing in front of a business somewhere around someone!

I honestly don't know if this came out or not. I dropped my phone so the screen is messed up but it still works..just can't really see anything. So, there is a blow up duck in the background. It was pouring rain so sorry bout the inside the car shot.
