Hey guys I wasn't getting a response in the I35 forum so was hoping that somebody here could please help me out...

Now, I know that it is possible to convert an automatic to a 5spd, but is it possible to swap out a regular A33 automatic shift (w/ side button), slide track to the newer "slapstick" style in a gated track?? Reason being, is that I want to switch center consoles from an '04 I35 into my '01 however the hole/opening where the shifter and track comes up are 2 completely different shapes.
