I had bought a cheap cai last year which was working fine for a while, now it seems my ecu doesn't like it anymore. Keeps stallin out so I have to put the oem parts back on which I can feel the air ristriction. Anybody havin problems with the injen setup

 

Injen CAI works fine for me (I had one on my 00 Max SE and my [current] 02 I35)

Clean it before replacing it. Clean the TB, filter and possibly MAF as well. Then reinstall the CAI and see if you still have the previous issue.

Did you scan for codes? Even if you don't have a CEL, you could have a pending code that hasn't tripped the light yet.

 

Yeah code for iacv with oem parts and then with aftermarket parts I get the code for maf

 

Is your aftermarket filter an oiled one?

 

Injen is the worst CAI out there for the 4th gen Max...
