My 2000 Maxima on cold mornings has a lot of trouble trying to start up. It just turns over and over and I have to put the gas peddle all the way to the floor and it will eventually start. It will run real rough for a little bit and then run fine. It has never happened when it is warm, only cold. I took it to the dealership as it is under warranty and it did it for them also. They said everything tested fine and they had no clue what is causing it, but to drive it for a while and see how it does.
I know it is not gas as I have been running premium in it, ran fuel injector cleaner through it.
Anyone else run into anything similar. I was a bit disappointed in the dealership's response also as they had my car 5 days.
